When we consider pre-installed Android launchers, we ‘re troubled by the lack of customization options. But this is not the case with a launcher on Samsung One UI. It provides beautiful features. What are those traits? Let’s see in this post where we dive deep into the tips and tricks for the Samsung One UI Home launcher.
The launchers are our key to the wonderful world of Android apps mounted on a computer. If a launcher isn’t in our mood, we won’t like our phone’s overall experience. We also often miss out on the fun features the launcher provides. Samsung One UI Home Launcher does the same. Samsung names it Samsung One UI Home launcher before you get lost, which is quite a mouthful one. That is why we are also going to refer to it as the Samsung One UI launcher.
So let’s find out the secret features and tricks of the Samsung One UI Home app.
1. ADD TO HOME SCREEN
Earlier, if you wanted to connect an app from your app drawer to the home screen, you ‘d just long-click it and drag it to the home screen. Now if you do that, you ‘re not going to be able to. Instead you’ll see the choice Add to House. While it is one way to connect the app to your home screen, you can also use the conventional way.
You’ll need to keep the app icon a little longer for that. That is, keep hold of the app icon even if you’re greeted by its choices. Appears home screen. Do not hold down the app icon to activate it.
2. SELECT MULTIPLE APPS ON DEVICE
You may want to carry out the same task on multiple apps at times. You may want to uninstall several apps for example, or switch them to a different device. In the same way, using the multi-select feature in your Samsung launcher, you can also delete multiple apps from your device.
Long-press on each of the applications to do so. Tap on Select objects, then pick the objects. From the top select the appropriate choice, i.e. uninstall or delete. Drag one of the selected apps, to switch them to a different computer. All the applications are set to move.
NOTE: Multiple selection can work on both your device home screen and in the app drawer.

I love launchers that let you build directories, and one of those is the Samsung One UI Home launcher. A folder is generated in two ways.
NOTE: You can do this by creating folders both in the app drawer and on the home screen.

Long-press on one of the app icons which you want to add to the folder in the second process. Then pick items Choose. Now tap on the applications you would like to pick. Finally , click at the top of the Build page.
4. CHANGE APP FOLDER COLOR
One of Samsung launcher’s interesting features is that it makes you color-coding of your files. This will help you to organize your data.
Open the folder and tap the color icon at the top to do so. Pick your favorite colour. To choose from a wide range of colours, tap the color palette icon on the extreme right side.
5. USE DEVICE APP SHORTCUTS
The app shortcuts allow you to easily access the important features of an app from your home screen or app drawer without the application being opened. Long-press on the approved program icon to do so. Then tap on the option needed. As you can see in the screenshot below for example , Twitter provides options such as a new post, new tweet, search, etc.
Although this is not an exclusive feature of Samsung One UI House, it was important to mention it here since it is a useful feature. Interestingly, all Android phones running Android 7.1 Nougat and above can be used with it.
6. DISABLE DEVICE APP DRAWER
Everyone has their own interests. While some people want to use the drawer app, others don’t need it. Luckily Samsung keeps all user styles happy. By example, the Samsung One UI Home launcher features an app drawer. But that is very easy if you want to uninstall it.
Long-tap your home screen into a room to do so. Tap Settings on Home Screen. Then press the interface on the Home screen.
