iOS 14 ‘s latest update adds a ton of customizability functionality to the platform including support for custom widgets and third-party widgets. You can also more or less use these features to change the icon arrangement on your home screen and even mask unique pages from your home screen altogether.

You can customize your iOS apps in several different ways by using these new features alongside the previously released Shortcuts software. Let ‘s look at some of the most common customizations for iPhone apps.

How to change an app’s icon on iOS 14

While there is no way to natively add or create custom app icons in iOS 14 for an app, you can use a nifty shortcuts workaround to virtually add custom photos to your device’s app icon. A detailed guide to the same can be found at the link below.

You can automate tasks for different apps through custom shortcuts. You can also use these features to access in-app configurations easily, which can help minimize access times and improve productivity.

But if you want to use this shortcut with Siri, you can instead press ‘Next’ in the upper-right corner.
